"The Healing Power of Play: A Child-Centered Play Therapy Intensive":
Children often communicate their inner world through play rather than words. This interactive 6-hour intensive provides counselors, social workers, psychologists, and other mental health professionals with a comprehensive introduction to Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), an evidence-based approach grounded in the therapeutic relationship and children's natural capacity for growth and healing. Participants will explore the theoretical foundations and developmental principles of CCPT while developing essential clinical skills for fostering emotional expression, resilience, and self-directed change.
Lunch will be provided to in-person attendees during the annual business meeting on Thursday. All in person conference attendees can receive a conference shirt by registering by October 15th AND completing the t shirt order form included in your registration email.
