    Jordan McCoy, LIMHP, LADC Presents: The World of EMDR: understanding how the brain is impacted by stress and trauma and how to treat stress-related disorders utilizing EMDR (LIVE presentation by Zoom)

    Jordan is Certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and has a passion to educate others on her use of EMDR to treat stress-related disorders, anxiety and depression disorders, and many other diagnosis. We will dig into the brain and how stress impacts our brain's functioning, as a child, adolescent, and adult. Many different interventions will be discussed with an EMDR lens.

    This event is to be presented LIVE via Zoom on Friday, April 14th, 2023, from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. You must attend at this time to receive the CE credit, and you must attend the entirety of the session. This CE will NOT be recorded for playback later. Please sign into Zoom with the name that you registered with to obtain your CE certificate. Information with the Zoom link will be sent via your registration email. One CE credit hour will be available for this presentation. CE certificates will be sent out at the conclusion of the presentation after participants pass a quiz (8/10).

    Join us for the NCA's Spring Conference 2023, at Bellevue University in Bellevue, NE! We are pleased to be able to offer up to a total of 21 CE's!

    ***In-Person registration is now full. You may register for the waitlist if preferred, otherwise Zoom registration will remain open until the start of the conference. 

    Full Schedule

    We will start the day with a Keynote by Bret Hendricks, Ed.D, from Texas Tech, featuring 3 Ethics CE credits! Bret will be presenting: Ethical Counseling and Supervision in a Changing World. For more info on Bret, click HERE or HERE

    Lunch will be on your own in lovely Bellevue NE. 

    In the afternoon, we will be featuring 3 breakout sessions with 6 speaker options each hour, up to 18 total CE's! Full afternoon schedule can be found HERE. Everything will be recorded, so you'll be able to catch it all.  Speaker tracks include: Trauma, Grief, Major Mental Illness Diagnosis and/or Assessment, Personal Development, and Ethics. Specific speaker presentation information will be shared via Facebook beginning March 7th. 

    This event will be held in-person and online. CE's will be recorded and available after the conference through May 31, 2023. All CE quizzes must be completed at that time. 

    New this year: All IN PERSON registrants will receive a t shirt, courtesy of our sponsors! You MUST register by March 17th to receive your shirt. Be sure to mark in your registration your size and color choices.

    If you are attending online and plan to pay by check, please ensure your checks are received by April 12th, 2023. No exceptions will be made if you have not paid to attend. If you are attending in-person, you may pay by check at check-in.

    CE certificates will be provided by the NCA following your successful completion of quiz (8/10 correct). Quizzes will be available at the end of each session. 

    If attending online, your Zoom name must match the FULL name you registered with.  If it does not, you may be removed from the Zoom Room. 

    Zoom information will be sent the week of the conference.

    Closing Remarks: 4:45pm in Auditorium
