    Paul Davies LIMHP, CPC, ADHD-CCSP presents: Diagnosing AHDH and SCT (Pre-Recorded, Available All Month Long!)

    This presentation covers the diagnostic criteria for ADHD as well as a newer disorder, SCT (sluggish cognitive tempo) that differs from ADHD but can present in similar ways. The treatment approaches and effectiveness of each treatment approach will also be discussed. The presentation will try to cover a broad range of areas such as potential causes of ADHD, current research, and areas of further development.

    This is a pre-recorded presentation, which you will receive access to once you have registered. Information will be sent via your registration email, including the video link, quiz link, and handouts. Please complete the quiz included in your registration email by no later than 5pm on September 30th, 2024 to receive your CE certificate. CE certificates will be sent automatically when you complete and pass the quiz (8/10 correct). You may take the quiz as many times is necessary to pass.

    Join us for the NCA's 2024 Fall Conference, at the beautiful Raising Nebraska building, located on the State Fair Grounds in Grand Island! We will be hosting Dr. Ajita Robinson, who will be providing her level 1 Grief Certification. We are planning for up to 120 in person attendees. 

    **If you would like to register for CE's please do so HERE. This registration is for sponsorship ONLY. 

    Important Deadlines: 

    September 15th: Early Bird rates for members end

    October 1st: Gold Sponsorships close. We need all logos for Gold Sponsorships by no later than 5pm on October 5th to get them on the shirts. 

    October 15th: Silver and Bronze Sponsorships close. We need all logos and needed info from all sponsor by no later than 5pm on March 30th so that we can create the Conference Booklet and get ready for the conference. 

    Conference Info:

    Two lunches per sponsorship will be provided with your registration at no additional fee.

    Each sponsor will be provided one 6" table and two chairs. At this time we do not plan to provide table cloths

    Join us for the NCA's 2024 Fall Conference, located at Raising Nebraska on the State Fair Grounds in Grand Island! We are pleased to be able to offer Level 1 Grief Certification, ACT-RⓇ Grief Curriculum, by Dr. Ajita Robinson. When Level 2 is completed, you are qualified to take the ADEC National Certification Test to be a Nationally Certified Grief Counselor: https://www.adec.org/page/Earn_Certification

    Objective: 

    The ACT-RⓇ Grief Curriculum is a comprehensive, 8-hour training program adapted from our in-depth 16-hour curriculum. This training is designed to equip clinicians with the essential knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to effectively identify, assess, and support grieving clients. The curriculum is built around the ACT-R model, a structured approach to grief that emphasizes Acknowledging the loss, providing Compassionate Companionship, facilitating Talk and Tools for processing grief, and guiding clients towards Reintegrating into life post-loss.

    7.5 CE's are available. 

    NO RECORDING WILL BE DONE FOR THIS CONFERENCE due to the nature of the material being presented. You must attend live either in person or by zoom the day of the conference, and you must attend all day to receive your CE's and Level 1 Certification. 

    Space is limited to 120 participants in person. All registrants will receive a copy of Dr. Robinson's book, The Gift of Grief, as well as a print copy of conference materials, and a conference shirt when you register early. You must register by October 1 to ensure your conference materials arrive in the mail on time if you plan to participate virtually. Shirt orders close October 15th.

    CE certificates will be provided by the NCA following your successful completion of quiz (8/10 correct). If you have not received your CE by October 30th at 5pm, and it is not in your spam folder, please email us at necounseling@gmail.com. Registrants are responsible for maintaining their record of their CE's.  Dr. Robinson will be providing Level 1 Certificates.
